We are the most complete holiday facility on the coast, and offer a wealth of activities for young and old alike. We also have lots to offer guests passing through and either just taking a short break or staying overnight. Everything you could possibly wish for!

Byske Havsbad swimming pool is approx. 30 km north of Skellefteå, approx. 2 km from the centre of Byske and right next to the River Byskeälven, replete with salmon. Reach us via the E4.

Accessible

There are accessible WCs in all the service buildings. The site is flat and has asphalted paths. Some of the cottages are hypoallergenic and accessible.

Service building 1

Centrally located. Male and female facilities with WCs, showers, haircare area, children’s
room for the little ones, family room/RWC, washing machines and dryers, kitchen plus assembly room and play corner. Terrace with patio furniture.

Service building 2

On the eastern side of the campsite. Family room with WC and shower, accessible WC with baby-changing facilities, pump-out facility, WCs, makeup room and kitchen area.

Service building 3

On the north side of the campsite. Male and female facilities with WCs and showers, accessible WC, pump-out facility and a small kitchen. Building with extra WCs and basins plus an accessible WC. Mowers are available to borrow at our two Collection points by service building 1 and the car wash.

Service building 4

In the western part of the site. Male and female facilities with WCs, baby-changing facilities, etc. Shower facilities/family room with WC and shower, pump-out facility, washing-up point, accessible WC.

Toilet block

Extra WCs and basins plus an accessible WC.
Service building/tent area 2. WCs and a washing-up point.

Tallenstugor cottages

There are washing-up points and a place to collect water outside the cottages.

Service building/outdoor pool

2 family rooms with WC and RWC facing the campsite. Male and female facilities with shower, WC, changing room and sauna. Communal relaxation suite. Accessible during the day from the outdoor pool and evenings from the campsite.

Entry and exit for Caravans

The caravan pitches are only intended for checked-in guests. Any visitors should park in the visitors’ car park off site. Vehicle traffic is only permitted at walking pace when entering and leaving the site. Mopeds should be wheeled, not driven, on the campsite grounds.

Parking of caravans

You can only park your caravan on the allocated pitch. For fire and safety reasons, there must be a distance of at least 2 m between the unit and the pitch boundaries, and at least 4 m to the next unit. We reserve the right to move your unit if these instructions are ignored. Each pitch is for 1 caravan + 1 car, other vehicles should be parked in the visitors’ car park off site. The roads around the campsite must be kept clear at all times to allow passage for emergency vehicles. The caravan tow bar should be facing the road.

Quiet time

Campsite quiet hours are between 23.00 and 07.00. Vehicle traffic is also banned on the site at this time.

Rules and regulations

SCR’s rules and regulations apply. Notices are posted at reception and in all the service buildings. Our staff have the right to ask guests who fail to observe the rules and regulations to leave the site.

Dogs

Dogs must be exercised off the site. Bins for dog waste are available and are indicated on the map. Dogs are not allowed at our public beach or in the pool area. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the site and must not be left unsupervised. For everyone’s comfort, please clean up after your dog.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all our cottages/rooms/servicebuildings. If smoking has occured you will be charged a fee from 4000 SEK.
Smoking is also prohibited to public places such as entrances, playgrounds, the café and the outdoor swimming pool.

Barbecues

Wood fires are only permitted at the barbecue sites on the beach. Gas/charcoal barbecues are permitted on individual pitches if they are placed on a stand or similar, i.e. not directly on the ground. Take note if there is a ban on lighting fires. Guests must provide their own wood and charcoal.

Night-time Security Guard

In the high season there is a night-time security guard on duty from 21:00-07:00. If you need to contact the security guard after the reception has closed, please call +46 (0)912- 612 90 and follow the instructions.

Waste disposal

Collection points can be found by service building 1 and by the car wash. There are special containers for corrugated cardboard, coloured and clear glass, garden waste, newspapers, batteries and charcoal. Large items e.g. furniture, garden tools, toys, barbecues, etc. must not be left on the campsite. Please take these to our recycling centre on the south side of the river by the old open market. The recycling centre is open Monday and Thursday 14:00-19:00 and Saturdays 10:00-14:00 in evennumbered weeks. There is also a recycling centre by the old Statoil filling station, where you can leave newspapers, glass, corrugated cardboard, metal, hard and soft plastics, etc.

Emptying waste tanks

Waste water tanks can be emptied on the north side of the site, just beyond the car wash. There are pump-out facilities for toilets in service buildings.

Reception

The reception is open 09:30-21:00 daily during the high season. The rest of the year you can find current opening hours at the reception or on the website. Our reception is also an authorised tourist office providing information on activities, accommodation, etc. There is also a public computer available for guests to use.

Everyone staying with us must have a valid Camping Key Europe, which can be purchased from us. Some local businesses offer extra benefits to cardholders. Let us know if you have any questions.

Accessibility

The majority of our service buildings and several of our cottages have been adapted to suit guests with disabilities, please contact reception for more information. There is a wheelchair accessible floating jetty on the beach. Beach wheelchair available to borrow free of charge at the Beach Service Desk.

Camping Key Europe

Everyone staying with us must have a valid camping card which can be purchased at reception or online. The card offers a range of discounts and special offers in Sweden and Europe and even includes an accident insurance for the whole family. Bookingrules

When should I pay?
- A registration fee of 20% of the total amount will be payed with card at the time of booking.
- Final payment will be made 30 days before arrival.
- If you book later then 30 days before arrival the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

What if I do not pay on time?
If the final payment is not done 30 days before arrival your reservation will be cancelled. No confirmation will be sent to you. The registration fee will not be paid back.

Cancellation insurance
Through purchasing a cancellation insurance for 250 SEK the registration fee and the final payment will be refunded if the following occur:

- Death, illness or a serious accident have occurred to you, your spouse/partner, you/your partners parents, children, siblings or co-travlers.
- Another serious incident occur that is beyond your control, which you could not have foreseen when you made your reservation, resulting in it being unreasonable to require that you should abide to your reservation e.g. compromising fire or flooding to your home.
- If you are summoned to the army or civil defense.
- If you due to unemployment or a new employment are unable to proceed with your reservation.

You will have to confirm your impediment by providing us with documents, for example a medical certificate, authority certificate or proof an insurance claim. The document shall be forwarded to us within 14 days from the reservation date. Only then the rental amount will be refunded. The cancellation insurance also gives your the right to cancel an ongoing stay and to recover the amounts corresponding to the part of the lenght of stay you have not been able to use if any of the above points occur.

What if I want to cancel?
If you cancel your reservation you will not be reimbursed for the service fee, the registration fee or final payment. However, if you have purchased a cancellation insurance you will be fully reimbursed, excluding the insurance fee and service fee, according to the special conditions that apply (see point above). No refund will be done if you choose to interrupt your stay earlier than planned.

By booking you allow us to send you newsletters by e-mail and you get the opportunity to participate in our guest survey via e-mail until you have unsubscribed to these.

Mat-Ekan
Is the campsite’s grocery shop which offers freshly baked bread and newspapers in the morning. Mat-Ekan also sells toys, barbecue accessories, food, sweets, drinks and a selection of tent and caravan accessories.

Car wash
Available on the north side of the campsite. Free of charge. Sponges etc. can be purchased at Mat- Ekan.

Ice packs
Can be purchased or exchanged at Mat-Ekan for a small charge.

Post
There is a yellow postbox at reception, emptied every day at 10:00. Long-stay guests can collect their post and papers from the box labelled ”Gästers post”.

Bank cards
Cards are welcome for payments at reception, Mat-Ekan, the outdoor pool, Byscaya Café, beach kiosk and the restaurant.

Currencies
The reception is cash-free for you and our security. We accept all common debit and credit cards.

Internet
You can use our guest computer at reception or connect using your own computer. Internet access is available in most areas.

Dogs
There is a dog shower on the short side of the reception building where you can wash your dog, as well as a separate dog-grooming area, including dryers. Dogs can be tied up outside service building 1 and 3, by reception and by the café. Water is available for your dog at all these places.

Dog beach
The dog beach is located on the south side of the boulders facing the river. You can also let your dogs swim in the river; just follow the beach promenade. A good place to exercise your dog is in the forest to the north of the campsite, where there are many good footpaths.

First aid boxes
Available at the beach kiosk, Byscaya Café, outdoor pool and reception.

Fire hydrants
Available at all service buildings in the Caravan areas, at Mat-Ekan and in reception.

Police
If you need to contact the police about a non-emergency, call 114 14.

Emergency number
In case of an emergency, call 112 for ambulance, police or fire brigade.

Defibrillator
Available at reception/outdoor pool. Our staff are trained to use the defibrillator.
