Teater de Vill's performance The hippopotamus and other horses is about everyone's equal worth. Humor and slapstick are interspersed with tension and some drama.
Oh, how wonderful life is, thinks the Hippopotamus. She enjoys her quiet, lazy existence by the beach. Despite her age, she moves elegantly in the water. The horse lives life, she is young and wild. Dances, jumps and moves as fast as the wind.
One day they both meet on the beach and their whole lives are turned upside down: Who is actually a horse?
